Product description
Optimised right down to the smallest detail - the Nanolite by Western Mountaineering could hardly be any lighter! The down quilt sleeping bag from the WM ExtremeLite Series has been specially designed for ultra-light tours and has an appropriately minimalistic design. As well as a low weight, it has outstanding thermal properties and some clever details. The mummy shaped quilt can be used down to just above freezing, and the high-quality down fill made of ethical, traceable goose down, guarantees excellent insulation of your body heat. The packed dimensions of just under one litre will please anybody who likes to use every square centimetre of their rucksack.
The down fill is contained within a quilted chamber construction to prevent it from shifting. The extremely lightweight outer material made of ripstop nylon in 7 denier thickness dries fast, feels pleasantly smooth and contributes to the low total weight of the quilt. A sophisticated, long bungee drawstring attaches the quilt to a sleeping mat to keep it in place, even for restless sleepers. A minimalistic draft collar with drawstring traps body heat inside the sleeping bag.
It comes with matching stuff sacks for storage and for transport. The Western Mountaineering Nanolite fits perfectly into ultra-light gear for spring, summer and autumn - and busts the “ultra-light - freeze at night” myth.
