Here, large backpacks can easily be protected from the rain without wasting storage space in the actual tent body.With its tunnel construction, the tent offers an ideal combination of space and wind resistance. The steep tent walls give you an excellent ratio of footprint versus usable interior space. The fly is made of ripstop nylon with a double silicone coating. The material is waterproof up to 2000 mm water column and is also considerably more UV-resistant than normal nylon tents thanks to the silicone coating. Reinforcements are worked into the ripstop material increasing tensile strength and reducing the fabric's stretch in moisture.The solid aluminum pole system is very stable even at high wind speeds. Outpost 2 is equipped with two entrances so you can always use the leeward entrance. When periods of bad weather with no sign of improvement make longer stays inside the closed tent inevitable, the four ventilation openings provide a welcome supply of fresh air.The floor is waterproof up to 7000 mm and withstands even high pressure (such as kneeling on the tent base) without moisture passing through the fabric.
