They are waterproof and breathable thanks to the Aquaproof climate membrane. They can be put on and taken off in no time thanks to the rapid lacing system. There are reinforcements in the toe and heel area that also protect the foot. The mid-cut model offers stability at the ankles when hill walking on uneven terrain.
