The Cooking series 27 Ultralight by Trangia includes a stove that is the perfect size to cook for one or two people. The sets that accompany this compact stove only take up minimal space in the backpack, making them perfect for touring when every gram counts. It is also possible to use a larger cooking pot when the upper wind shield holder is folded up. The sets also come in two variations: Ultra-light aluminum and ultra-light hard anodized aluminum. The Trangia 27-5 set includes two 1 liter non-stick pots (one with and one without scale), one non-stick frying pan (Ø 18 cm), upper and lower wind shields, a spirit burner, tongs and a strap. The Trangia 27-5 can also come with a Primus gas burner instead of a spirit burner! The ultra-light version is made from a new aluminum alloy which is up to 50% stronger than conventional aluminum so the pots can be even thinner and lighter. The new Trangia models score with their up to 25% lower weight in comparison with their predecessors! Ultralight hard anodized is an incredibly wear resistant aluminum alloy. Hard anodizing also significantly improves scratch, wear and corrosion resistance. This surface treatment makes it much easier to clean the containers! Its fantastic properties make this material the perfect replacement for titanium as well as Duossal stoves. Non-stick is a coating that is perfect for frying food with and without oil. Nothing will burn, making them much easier to clean afterwards. Non-stick is however slightly more vulnerable to unwanted scratching and wearing, so it is recommended that only wooden and plastic utensils are used.
