The Tadpole SL 2 from The North Face is a lightweight wonder for epic treks and mountain trips! This extremely lightweight 2-person tent shortens your pitching time, due to its single-wall design made from waterproof nylon, and requires only half as much fabric as a conventional tent. In addition, the Tadpole features a two-pole design, so that only a small number of poles are required and yet, together with the guy-out points, the tent benefits from a high degree of structural integrity that can withstand strong gusts. This makes the tent extremely light, easy to handle and quick to assemble and disassemble, despite its high weather resistance.

Sophisticated mix of materials with intelligent details

Its fabric is made of fine, breathable and waterproof 3-layer polyester with mesh panels, ripstop nylon and a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR finish. The Easton Syclone carbon fibre poles offer a perfect balance of stability and lightness.

Plus, the one-door design contributes to the tent’s low weight, but does not come at the expense of space and comfort thanks to the spacious vestibule that accommodates all your bulky items. Strategically-placed guy-out points noticeably increase the internal volume of the Tadpole tent. Moreover, the high-low ventilation ensures enhanced comfort in the living space, as well as a balanced indoor climate. The mosquito net on the front door keeps "no-see-ums", the smallest mosquitoes, at bay.
