Product description
Lightweight, warmth-optimized down jacket with a compact pack size
If you want to reach high altitudes and require both a very good thermal performance and a small pack size, then the Summit Breithorn Hoodie of The North Face might be just what you’re looking for. It has a 800 cuin ProDown fill that received a water-repellent treatment, making it perfect for wet conditions. In addition, the outer of the Summit Breithorn Hoodie has been treated with a PFC-free DWR finish that lets rain and snow simply roll off the jacket. The jacket is also very lightweight, yet durable, partly thanks to the RipStop fabric used on the outer. In addition, the jacket also compresses well, so that it has a small pack size and can be stowed in its own left front pocket. The raglan sleeves, along with the gusset inserts in the underarms, provide a wide range of motion and excellent comfort. In the zipped front and chest pockets you can safely stow important items. In addition, the Summit Breithorn Hoodie also features two inner mesh pockets. The stretchy cuffs are super comfortable to wear and dry quickly thanks to the FlashDry technology.
