The GE700 from Shimano are the perfect mountain biking shoes for you if Enduro is your discipline and you love epic rides and adrenaline-fuelled downhills! The SPD cleat is positioned in the midfoot area, which ensures greater stability. In addition, the rubber compound and the tread of the sole are optimised for excellent grip on your pedals as well as off-road walking, so that you can accelerate with confidence when gravity biking without ever losing control. The durable and breathable upper is ready for Enduro fun, while the lacing, together with the wide hook-and-loop fastener, ensures a good and comfortable fit.
Clever features and extra protection
As things can get a little rough on tough descents, the extra protective features such as the asymmetrically raised collar, the sole raised at the sides and the toe protection are welcome additions. Plus, the TORBAL torsion plate offers slightly more flexibility on the outer sides to enable improved control on fast descents and sharp turns. In combination with the multi-layer EVA midsole, this also provides extra shock absorption and comfort.
