Athletic, comfortable touring shoe with a BOA twist lock
The ET701 from Shimano is the perfect choice if you enjoy touring, are looking for shoes for your daily commute and also like to spend a lot of time on your feet. They’re lightweight, athletic shoes that can be worn anywhere, anytime. However, they have some special features that make them ideal for cycling. The upper material is breathable and well ventilated so your feet won’t overheat. In the forefoot area, the upper is slightly water repellent with a Splash Shield membrane to protect your feet. Reflective details provide more safety in low light and visibility conditions.
Quick lacing and clever sole design
Thanks to the BOA twist lock, the ET701 fits quickly, easily and perfectly. As for the outsole, it has a block tread pattern designed to give the best traction on all terrains, while also looking good on the pedals. Transverse grooves in the tread provide good grip on a variety of pedals, and the stiff Power Transfer Balde midsole just above the outsole ensures an efficient power transfer to the pedals.
