Ultra-light, air-filled sleeping mat
The Ultralight XR Insulated Mat from Sea to Summit comes with improved specifications compared to the previous model. The new edition is 14% lighter, 30% thicker and 16% more insulating. It also has a 53% smaller pack volume and 8% more sleeping surface than many competing mats. The hybrid 30/40D nylon fabric and extruded TPU inner laminate with antimicrobial Ultrafresh treatment have proven themselves over the last 10 years.
Comfort and stability
The 151 individual Air Sprung Cells mould to your body and reduce pressure points, significantly increasing lying and sleeping comfort. In addition, the Air Spring Cells offer much greater stability than conventional air mattresses with air chambers. The lightweight and effective ThermalCore insulation uses a TRM layer to reflect body heat back to the sleeping person, resulting in a 16% increase in R-value for the 2026 model.
