Product description
One-person tent offering versatile protection from the elements on challenging hikes
The Sentinel Tent XP1 from Sea to Summit has been designed for trekking trips where low weight, high comfort and reliable weather protection are essential. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this tent can easily be adapted to a variety of conditions. In Full Fly Mode, the outer tent provides effective protection from wind and rain, whilst in Stargaze Mode you can sleep under the 'open sky', while still enjoying protection from biting insects and having the outer tent quickly to hand if needed. Whether used as an open shelter in 'Hangout' mode or as an ultra light 'Fly-only' shelter, the Sentinel XP1 demonstrates its versatility. Its sturdy Hex Hub architecture with DAC poles ensures quick assembly and excellent stability whilst on tour.
Well-thought-out details for comfort in all weathers
This tent impresses with its numerous features designed for demanding conditions. The modern Ultra-Sil LS outer tent fabric absorbs less water, dries more quickly and retains its shape even when wet. Spacious vestibules provide sheltered storage space for equipment and footwear, whilst practical internal pockets help keep the interior tidy. Steep side walls, a high ceiling and a rectangular floor plan help to create a surprisingly spacious feeling. Ventilation openings featuring AirLift technology promote air circulation to reduce condensation. In addition, self-tensioning guy-out points, adjustable guy lines and the option of using trekking poles for further stabilisation enhance the tent's resilience in challenging conditions. Last but not least, the waterproof tent floor provides reliable protection even on very wet ground, while the 'Fly-First assembly keeps the interior dry even in rain.
Key benefits:
- Flexible usage modes, ranging from full weather protection to an ultra light 'fly-only' configuration
- Durable construction offering high stability, efficient ventilation and quick assembly
- Spacious interior, waterproof base and protected storage compartments for greater comfort on trips
