The Alto TR1 1 man tent from Sea to Summit will be your new go-to for backpacking, cycling and trekking trips. Weighing only 1110 g, it’s particularly lightweight, yet it’ll reliably protect you against the elements. It has a high ceiling and an extra large door, which makes it extremely comfortable. It’s equipped with stable DAC poles to ensure the ultralight tent is stable, secure and reliable.
Top-class materials built for daily use
The Alto TR1 1 man tent from Sea to Summit has a Tension Ridge Architecture (abbreviation: TR). This ensures you have more usable floor space and it offers great headroom thanks to the high ceiling. The tent also features a large vestibule in which you can stow away your equipment and protect them against the elements.
As for the Alto TR1’s materials, the tent floor and flysheet are made of ultralight ripstop nylon, while the inner tent is made of an air-permeable mesh polyester that wonderfully ventilates. Optimal protection against moisture and humidity is provided by the material's hydrostatic head of 1200 mm, the sealed seams and the silicone and polyether polyurethane (Sil-PeU) coating on the flysheet. As a result, the tent can withstand intense and persistent rain during your trek, hill walk and backpacking trip.
In addition, the Alto TR1 is supported by a lightweight, extremely tough frame made of anodised DAC Featherlite NFL and Pressfit aluminium. And, the easy-to-use Quick Connect Tent Feet allows you to adjust and attach the flysheet with just one hand.
Versatile for solo trips
The Sea to Summit tent can be set up quickly and easily by just one person. There are various set-up options available, such as the Dry Set-Up, Fly Only, Inner Only, Partial Fly and Classic Mode. Thanks to the various set-up modes, the tent can be adapted to any situation. The Sea to Summit tent is meant to be used on three-season adventures, i.e. from spring to autumn.
