The wide collar makes it extremely easy to slip the boot on, and the Energy 2 sole makes for smooth transitions. Thanks to the balanced tread design, the sole delivers no-slip excellent traction on almost any terrain. There's no protective rand to shield the foot from rock and debris, but the toe and heel are extremely sturdy and tough. The boot comes equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane to keep water at bay and allow moisture to escape, resulting in a dry, balanced interior.
