Dynamic trail running shoes for long distances
With the Xodus Ultra 2, the name says it all. The Saucony trail running shoes are made for long runs up to ultra distances. Whether for training or competition, they offer a winning combination of cushioning and stability with agility and dynamism. They’re perfect for varied terrain with technical passages.
The breathable mesh in the forefoot and side reinforcements offer protection and ventilation. The padded heel counter provides a secure and comfortable fit in the back of the foot. Thanks to the wide laces, you can easily adjust the fit at the midfoot. The toe box offers plenty of room and is ideal for average to wide feet.
As for the midsole, it’s made from PWRRUN PB foam, which provides excellent cushioning properties and responsiveness. In addition, the reinforced edges of the PWRRUN Support Frame provide extra stability. Another great feature includes the coarse and aggressive PWRTRAC outsole with 4.5 mm lug depth that offers good traction on both wet and dry surfaces. As a result, the shoes perform well on forest paths, roots or in alpine terrain.
