The boots are extremely lightweight and agile, so you’ll make fast progress and be light-footed even on uneven terrain. Of course, the X Ultra 4 Mid GTX are also very stable, so you’ll get to enjoy wearing them for a long time.
Rain doesn’t stand a chance
The walking boots are also equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane, so your feet will stay dry even if you’re walking in the rain and on wet grounds. In addition, they feature Salomon’s own Contagrip sole to provide excellent traction on asphalt, wet and dry surfaces. It literally grabs the ground, which is especially helpful when running downhill. For the midsole, Salomon used the so-called EnergyCell.
