Lightweight, yet tough mountain boots for alpine terrain
The Women's Ortles Edge Mid GTX from Salewa feel at home in a wide variety of alpine terrain. On slippery grass and muddy ground is exactly where these boots do their best, thanks to their special lug tread. The upper is made from an extremely tough mix of Kevlar and hard-wearing nylon. In addition, the boots are permanently waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to their GORE-TEX membrane. A protective rim made of TPU and a reinforced ankle area provide extra protection and stability.
Comfort meets performance
The interior of the Women's Ortles Edge Mid GTX was designed with comfort in mind. Thanks to their 3D lacing, the boots can be perfectly and precisely adjusted in the midfoot and toe areas. Plus, the 3F System from Salewa guarantees a firm hold in the heel and ankle area, effectively preventing blisters. The Women's Ortles Ascent Mid GTX from Salewa are versatile and lightweight mountain boots that you can use for a wide range of tours - from trekking to high alpine.
