The Salewa Women's Firetail EVO GTX Hiking Shoe fuses a colorful design with maximum support and waterproof performance, allowing you to trek through virtually any terrain and weather condition with ease. The shoe features a waterproof breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that keeps your feet dry and well ventilated when you slog through wet, mud-caked trails. This day-hiking specialist excels at fast-paced, high-mileage hikes with its ultra-tough Aramid (used in bullet-proof vests) upper that's reinforced with wear-resistant materials. In addition, the shoe's Silverized antimicrobial treatment resists odor-causing bacteria. Designed with the innovative 3F Evo System, the shoe itself uses a steel wire brace, extending from the middle part of the sole to the laces and back around the heel. This provides excellent support normally found on mid or high-top hikers without the restricting cuff. The shoe's Multi Fit Footbed Plus conforms to your foot for a customized fit and proper support, and the Firetail EVO's Vibram Tech Approach sole gives grip and stability with its rugged tread design.
