Quick and easy to use, safe to stow and still lovely and compact: the Quick Screw from Salewa is an outstanding ice screw for ice climbing and mountaineering! The screw is available in three different lengths, which are color coded for quick differentiation on the go.
The ice screw has a clever tip protector which is firmly attached to prevent it from getting lost. The protector can remain on the tip after starting the climb and can easily be removed by hand, even through gloves. A clear safety bonus for ice climbing! The ergonomically shaped handle provides a strong grip for screwing it in, whilst the large crank makes the process both quick and effortless; you’ll soon be secure on the ice! The compact bolt head is made of plastic, which minimizes thermal conduction and makes placing the screw into the ice much easier.
