Product description
Winter mountaineering, challenging tours through the high mountains, ice touring over steep walls. Not everyone is up for such challenges, especially not without the necessary equipment. The Volta Guide 9.0 by Petzl is the perfect rope for demanding mixed-action tours. This compact, lightweight rope meets three different standards and is approved for use as a single rope, half rope and twin rope. Thanks to its Guide UIAA Dry finish, this rope also meets the UIAA standard with a water absorption value below 2%. This is achieved by means of a complete treatment of the rope core and the entire rope. However, the high-quality finish doesn't only reduce the water absorption (and thus improves safety and handling) but also makes the rope dirt-repellent. Of course, the Volta Guide comes with a middle mark and the typical EverFlex finish. Thanks to a thermal treatment, the fibres are much more uniform and the handling of the rope is far more comfortable. With this climbing rope, professional alpinists can face the most challenging mountain tours!
