Attention mountaineers! The Vasak Leverlock Universel by Petzl is a twelve-point crampon for alpinism of all kinds. Lonely glaciers and steep slopes of firn and ice interspersed with rock. This is where the Vasak is most at home. The two front points are perfect for climbing and walking, the second pair of points supports you on steep ice and provides you with better stability. The front points are arranged horizontally and provide a good load capacity in hard snow and stability while climbing on brittle ice.
The Leverlock Universel binding system is suitable for all boots with pronounced welts on the heels. With the Fil metal bracket the crampons can be attached to shoes with a toe welt and with the Flex basket it also fits all other types of shoes.
The Vasak crampon is easily adjustable via the center bar and due to the particular construction of the front part a huge adjustment range is covered. The integrated ANTISNOW plates reduce the risk of snow accumulating under your boots. A really practical feature for you: the front part of the Vasak can be removed. That way you can combine the rear part with the front parts of the Irvis and the Sarken which are separately available. This is a considerably cheaper way to get the right type of crampons for any terrain than buying an entire pair of crampons every time. The Vasak will take you to the top with ease!
