Product description
No matter if you're into trad climbing or mountaineering, head for the summits with the Rumba 8.00 mm by Petzl! This rope is approved for use as a half and twin rope and treated with the Duratec Dry finish. Thanks to this finish, you can also use the Rumba for ice climbing or dry tooling. It is fair to say that there are better ropes with complete treatment for these kinds of activities. However, the Duratec Dry treatment is dirt-repellent and thus protects the rope as well as the attached carabiners and belay devices against wear and abrasion.
With the Rumba, you enjoy all the advantages of a double rope: reliable safety, weight distribution during approaches and a full-length rappelling stretch. The EverFlex thermal finish is also worth mentioning. This technique stabilises and uniforms the fibres, which results in an easier handling. Enjoy your climb - head for the mountains with the Rumba 8.0!
