Product description
If you’re in the mountains on a regular basis, you’ll be hard-pressed to find an alpinist without the Reverso fromPetzl. This is the do-anything classic among belay/rappel devices.
Regardless of whether you’re climbing multiple pitches or mountaineering at high altitudes, this device has proven itself to be absolutely essential. It provides smooth handling and is incredibly versatile. Regardless of whether you’re lead or top rope belaying or belaying one or two seconding climbers in alpine terrain, the Reverso can do it all.
There’s an eyelet, which serves as a connection point for attaching the REVERSO to an anchor. The small eyelet is used to give out slack in Reverso mode. The V-shaped friction grooves allow for controlled braking. At 57 grams, it is extremely light and an absolute must for any climber’s rack.
The Reverso can be used with most standard ropes:
- Single ropes: 8.5 to 10.5 mm,
- Half ropes: 7.1 to 9.2 mm,
- Twin ropes: 6.9 to 9.2 mm.
