Product description
Petzl designed its Arial Dry 9.5mm Climbing Rope for experienced climbers who want to ascend everything from the local crags to Chamonix's mixed routes. This thin rope balances its light weight with performance to keep you cranking on rock, ice, or snow throughout the seasons. Despite its light weight and skinny diameter, the Arial still boasts a strong impact force and a high fall rating so you can climb with it for a long time. Petzl treated this rope with Duratec Dry to resist water, dirt, and abrasion as well as to enhance grip and handling in cold, wet conditions. The EverFlex treatment gives this rope a prolonged grip and consistent handling by stabilizing the core's strands, and an UltraSonic finish bonds the core to the sheathe to eliminate frayed ends and increase this rope's overall durability. The ClimbReady Coil lets you uncoil this rope out of its package without a bunch of tangles.
