With the Patagonia Women's Jackson Glacier Parka, you'll have the perfect down coat come winter. The long coat not only looks fabulous but will keep you warm as well, so it's just as well suited for everyday wear and mooching about the Christmas market as it is for winter hill walks. Another great thing about this coat: the insulation used consists of recycled goose and duck down from older pieces of clothing with down fill. The 2-layer outer fabric is also made of a recycled fabric and keeps out moisture and the wind. Perfect for our environmentally-conscious Alpine Trekkers out there!
Practical details that enhance comfort
In addition to the two front pockets with the concealed zip, there is also a practical zip pocket with cable grommet on the inside. The hood with the concealed drawstrings can be pulled together to form a protective cocoon. Thanks to the thread-free adhesive quilting of the down baffles, the coat keeps out moisture even better.
