The Upstride Jacket from the American outdoor and sustainability pioneers at Patagonia is a lightweight, functional softshell jacket that was specifically designed for long, strenuous ski tours in changeable weather. It's ideal for quick ascents with a light pack and boasts two oversized zipped front pockets that can be not only used to carry essentials but also as vents. The breathable fabric features a PFC-free DWR coating that makes the outer durably water repellent and the inner consists of a comfortable knit fabric that effortlessly glides on your skin or base layer without rubbing.
Additional safety features, sustainable production and choice of materials
As usual for Patagonia, they produced the Upstride Jacket with sustainability in mind. It consists of 100% recycled polyester and its production is Fair Trade certified. Plus, the sewn-in RECCO reflector enables rescuers to locate you more quickly in case of an emergency.
