The Women's Western Alps Swisswool Jacket from Ortovox is a highly functional, amazingly light and warm insulated jacket designed for the mountains! This jacket’s first-class material blend is wind and water-repellent, as well as highly abrasion-resistant, thanks to its Pertex Quantum Diamond Fuse outer shell. The high-quality Swisswool fill features two thicknesses so that it can deliver a high level of insulation to different parts of the body with a minimal weight and pack size. Another practical detail of the sustainably produced Swisswool insulation is that it will still keep you warm even when wet.
Perfectly balanced design
The soft lining and the storm hood, with its high-cut collar, help to keep the elements at bay. In addition, the whole jacket is perfectly sealed by the fitted cuffs and width-adjustable hem.
Despite all this weather protection, freedom of movement in demanding terrain is not neglected thanks to the special High Reach Fit, consisting of longer sleeves and a longer torso. Plus, thanks to the durable 2-way front zip, even a climbing harness won’t prevent you from getting the ventilation you need.
