This makes it ideal for ski mountaineering, but also for freeriding, snowshoeing and mountaineering. The vest makes for a perfect midlayer or even an outer layer on mild days. It features a Swisswool lining, which warms even when wet and therefore has a great advantage over down. In combination with the sturdy nylon outer material, the vest is perfect for winter sports enthusiasts. So the Piz Boè not only warms reliably, but is also windproof, water-repellent and moisture-regulating (can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet).
What else does the vest have to offer? The elasticated hood not only sits comfortably on the head, it also protects against wind and weather. Two front pockets and a breast pocket offer enough space for small items that are essential when travelling. In summary, the Women’s Swisswool Piz Boè Vest has an ideal weight-to-insulation ratio – and in combination with its functional properties, is the perfect vest for winter sports activities!
