Product description
Super-light insulating jacket for winter sports enthusiasts
The Women's Swisswool Piz Boè Jacket from Ortovox is a lightweight insulating jacket. It’s perfect for demanding ski tours, but also suitable for alpine tours and mountaineering. It's ideal for those who demand the most from their equipment.
Durable outer material
The insulating jacket is made of the very durable Pertex Quantum outer material. It’s an abrasion-resistant, windproof and water-repellent material. The jacket withstands cold winds and short, light rain showers. In addition, only recycled synthetic fibres are used, which protects the environment.
Swiss new wool insulation
The fill material consists almost entirely of the high-quality Swisswool. This provides excellent protection against the cold and also has a moisture-regulating effect. Their natural fibres can absorb up to 35% of their own weight in moisture. This prevents sweat from accumulating under the jacket.
Lots of freedom of movement
The Women's Swisswool Piz Boè Jacket’s cut lets you move freely. It also fits snugly, so you can easily wear it as an insulating layer under a hardshell jacket.
Intelligent design
The jacket has two zipped front pockets for storing some small items. The pockets are positioned so that you can easily reach them with a backpack or climbing harness on. Other practical features include the snug hood and the wide, elasticated cuffs.
Conclusion
The Women's Swisswool Piz Boè Jacket is the perfect jacket for enthusiastic ski tourers. In addition to beings super light, it’s also warm. The high-quality Swiss new wool also ensures an extremely comfortable microclimate.
