The Women’s Ortler GORE-TEX Jacket by Ortovox is a lightweight hardshell jacket for alpine touring, alpine climbing and other alpine activities where reliable weather protection is essential. It is specially designed for use in demanding terrain and impresses with functional features for changeable conditions on the mountain.

Weatherproof and breathable

The hardshell fabric with a GORE-TEX membrane is waterproof, windproof and breathable. With a hydrostatic head of 28,000 mm, the jacket offers strong protection against rain, snow and wind. Practical armpit zips provide additional ventilation during intense climbs or strenuous sections, allowing for rapid air exchange. Despite its robust protective function, the jacket remains pleasantly light at just 310 g.

Designed for alpine use

The adjustable helmet-compatible hood can be optimally adjusted and sits securely even over a climbing helmet. Two zipped front pockets and a zipped chest pocket provide space for essential small items that need to be quickly to hand whilst on the move. A drawstring in the seam and hook-and-loop fasteners on the sleeves allow for individual adjustment, whilst the articulated sleeves support natural freedom of movement.
