The Venet Swisswool 60 Vest by Ortovox is a merino vest for alpine touring and ski touring. Featuring Swisswool, it is temperature regulating whilst remaining breathable – ideal for changeable weather on the trail. The stretch fabric moves with you and ensures a flexible fit, so you remain unrestricted during ascents, kick turns or on alpine passages.

Protects against wind and light rain

On the outside, the vest features Pertex Quantum as a lightweight, wind-resistant outer fabric. This means it blocks the wind effectively and helps prevent you from cooling down too quickly whilst out on a tour. The water-repellent surface also copes well with light dampness and brief showers. Weighing 255 g, the total weight remains pleasantly light, making it well suited to alpine adventures where every gram counts.

Close-fitting and adaptable

For a customisable fit, the adjustable hood can be set to suit, whilst the elastic hem provides a comfortable seal and sits closer to the body. Two zipped chest pockets keep small items safely stowed and within easy reach. There is also a full-length front zip with a chin guard, which makes putting the vest on and taking it off straightforward and ensures a comfortable fit at the chin.
