Product description
The Probe Alu 280 from Ortovox is a lightweight and reliable avalanche probe made from aluminium, which is an essential piece of emergency equipment when touring in avalanche-prone terrain. Thanks to a PFA quick-release system and the steel cable tensioning system, its 44 cm-long segments extend to their full length of 280 cm in a flash. Other key features include the clear depth marker at 1.5 m and a visual guidance system, which enable very quick and accurate probing. All in all, the Probe 280 offers intuitive and quick handling combined with high effectiveness, while still remaining lightweight and compact.
