The Ortler GORE-TEX Pants by Ortovox are reliable waterproof trousers for alpine climbing and alpine touring. As robust hardshell trousers, they have been developed for alpine use in changeable weather. The GORE-TEX membrane makes the fabric waterproof, windproof and breathable, ensuring reliable weather protection in the mountains.
High comfort with full freedom of movement
With a hydrostatic head of 28,000 mm, the trousers offer excellent protection against the wet. Articulated knees support natural movement on steep terrain and increase freedom of movement during ascents. The adjustable waistband allows the fit to be customised so that the trousers sit securely and comfortably.
Practical features for alpine tours
Two zipped front pockets and two leg pockets provide essential storage space on the go. Integrated gaiters help keep snow out and reduce moisture penetration from below. A scuff guard on the particularly stressed areas of the leg cuffs further enhances durability.
