The Air Zoom Pegasus 40 Road are classic running shoes. The neutral men's Nike shoes have been worn by beginners and advanced runners for four decades. They’re great for short or long distances, fast or slow runs and for training on asphalt or running tracks.
Medium amount of cushioning and good energy return
The shoes are made of a breathable mesh upper and sit securely on the foot thanks to the midfoot strap. With a heel height of 32 mm, the midsole has a medium amount of cushioning and provides good impact protection. Plus, they feature the proven Nike React foam that offers good responsiveness. This, along with the special Zoom Air elements at the heel and forefoot creates a springy feeling when running. Thanks to the 10 mm drop, it’s suitable for all running styles, but is particularly good for heel runners.
