Reliably warm and yet super lightweight - the Women's Oreus Hooded Jacket from Mountain Equipment! This synthetic jacket features an amazing balance of warmth, weight and compressibility and can therefore cope with long waits in windy conditions and other alpine challenges. This is made possible by its high-bulk Aetherm synthetic insulation in combination with an ultra-fine, breathable and fully recycled Plasma 10D outer material. Despite its extremely fine yarn, the outer is very strong and further reinforced with a FC-free DWR and Double Cire treatment to make it weatherproof.
Thanks to its sophisticated materials, the Women's Oreus functional jacket can accommodate a comprehensive range of features without any significant increase in weight or volume. These details include the insulated and fully adjustable hood, the YKK front zip with an insulated storm flap and the easy-to-adjust hem with two drawstrings. And then, when the sun comes out again, the Women's Oreus insulated jacket can be stowed away within its own inside pocket in no time!
