Thanks to their highly breathable, elastic and wind-repellent Schoeller softshell material, they’re not only versatile, but also comfortable and allow for a full range of motion. In addition, they feature a double-weave material on the seat, knees and lower legs that’s particularly abrasion-resistant and it won’t shy away from contact with rocks. Plus, you can adjust the waistband from the outside to find your perfect fit. Speaking of a great fit, the asymmetrically shaped hem and a stowable attachment hook ensure the trousers fit securely over your mountaineering boots. Plus, you can adjust the width of the leg ends by the snap buttons.
Another great feature for mountaineering and climbing includes the pockets on the sides, seat and leg that can all be accessed whilst wearing a climbing harness. And thanks to its PFC-free DWR treatment, the Women’s Courmayeur SO Pants from Mammut are permanently dirt- and water-repellent.
