The Taiss Light Mid GTX from Mammut are light, precise and durable in the mountains
These technical mountaineering boots combine minimal weight with maximum performance. Thanks to their GORE-TEX membrane, you will stay reliably dry even in adverse conditions. At the same time, the hardwearing schoeller softshell material and lightweight Microfibre Racing ensure freedom of movement, protection and longevity in alpine terrain.
For demanding tours in mixed alpine terrain
The Vibram Litebase sole with Vibram XS Trek compound offers precise grip on rock, snow and mixed alpine terrain. A stiffened midsole guarantees stability and surefootedness when climbing and on crampons, while the Contact Control System ensures optimal power transfer and traction. Thanks to Mammut Georganic 3D technology, all areas close to the foot are anatomically shaped, increasing comfort on long tours.
The 2-zone lacing allows for individual adjustment in the forefoot and collar area, while the board-lasted design makes them dimensionally stable and allows them to be resoled. With a raised elasticated edge, PFC-free DWR coating and Fair Wear-certified production, the Taiss Light are an uncompromising partner for classic alpine tours, via ferratas and mixed routes.
