The Pro 45 Removable Airbag 3.0 avalanche backpack from Mammut is ideal for adventures in the wintry mountains. With its great storage space, it offers plenty of room for multi-day tours and is also equipped with a Removable Airbag 3.0 System from Mammut, which offers you extra protection in an avalanche situation. Pressing a lever triggers a pressurised cartridge that inflates a large airbag on the backpack. This reduces the risk of burial as you are more likely to stay on the surface.
Low weight and many well thought-out features
With its low weight, the Pro 45 Removable Airbag 3.0 avalanche backpack also scores highly on your ascent. Despite maximum safety features, you don't have to carry much weight and can instead rely on pure comfort. In addition, the shoulder and hip straps are softly padded, while the thermoformed back fits your body perfectly. Side compression straps enable compact transport of your belongings to increase your control during intensive movements. Skis or snowboards can be quickly attached to the backpack in technical terrain, allowing you to continue on foot. Meanwhile, a helmet holder, radio pocket and a daisy chain offer attachment options for all your equipment.
