As part of the Eiger Extreme collection built for all things extreme, ranging from high alpine expeditions to ski tours and ice climbing, the Mammut Nordwand Hardshell Thermo Hooded Jacket is a tough, waterproof hardshell made of Pertex Shield and equipped with a polyurethane membrane. In other words, the jacket is both windproof and waterproof, making it ideal for cold and wet weather. The hardshell comes equipped with a PrimaLoft Gold Active fill and 4-way stretch fabric, so you can rest assured that this jacket will deliver the insulation, breathability and mobility you need. The jacket's fit has also been specifically designed to allow for optimal freedom of movement.In addition, the Mammut Nordwand Hardshell Thermo Hooded Jacket has an array of other features that will come in useful on your alpine adventures, including an adjustable, helmet-compatible stormproof hood and adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners, both of which can be adjusted easily, even with gloves on. Plus, the jacket has front pockets that are compatible with a climbing harness as well.
