Product description
With its high abrasion resistance and extremely low stretch as well as a breaking strength of 32 kN, the Mammut 10.5 Performance Static has everything a quality static rope needs. It is capable of withstanding a lot of wear and tear, such as that of fixed rope used for expeditions at icy cold altitudes, hauling gear on big walls or abseiling whilst canyoning. Plus, it can take the beating resulting from constant exposure to sandy and wet surfaces as well. Because a static rope is not designed to stretch when under a load, it should never be used as a climbing rope. It won't absorb any forces in the event of a fall. With a diameter of 10.5 mm, the rope is extremely tough and durable.
The Mammut 10.5 Performance Static rope is available in 50, 100, 200 and 400 m lengths. Like all Mammut ropes, this, too, is bluesign certified and thus environmentally friendly.
