This along with the elastic waistband makes the trousers extremely comfortable to wear. Plus, the fit is fantastic. An added bonus: The fabric not only dries quickly but also wicks away moisture. Of course, the trousers have been treated with a PFC-free dryprotect treatment for water repellence.To prevent the trousers getting damaged by crampons, the lower legs have been reinforced with strong Cordura material. The leg openings can also be widened using a zip, just in case you need some extra room for your mountaineering boots.
