Product description
Waterproof mountaineering boots for alpine adventures
If you like to explore mountainous alpine regions on your travels, then take a look at the Mangart GTX Mid from the legendary Bavarian mountaineering boot manufacturer Lowa! They offer protection against the elements thanks to the built-in GORE-TEX membrane. This makes the upper waterproof and windproof, while still allowing your feet to breathe. They feature a Vibram Alp Trac Numen outsole with a sharp-edged lug design. It offers plenty of traction and ensures that you make good progress in alpine terrain. With the climbing zone at the toes, you can step precisely on steep rocks. In addition, the two technologies known as Close to the Ground and Close to the Rock refer to a design that aims to minimise the distance between the sole of the foot or toes and the ground and rocks in order to provide a better feel for the terrain. As a result, this offers a better, more stable stance.
Cushioning and a flexible collar for great comfort
The Mangart GTX Mid boasts the Shock Absorber technology, which absorbs the impact of the heel when walking. A heel pad is integrated into the insole, so the shoes will cushion your every step to ensure a comfortable walking experience. Finally, Flexfit means that the collar of the shoe can be flexed slightly to allow a better rolling motion to save your energy and to increase comfort, especially on climbs.
