Waterproof membrane
The high-cut upper, made from high-quality nubuck leather, ensures a comfortable fit and reliable support. Thanks to the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, your feet stay dry and comfortable even in the rain, on wet grass or on muddy paths. The high collar also prevents dirt, small stones and moisture from getting in.
Shock-absorbing midsole
La Sportiva’s tried-and-tested 3D Flex System provides added safety and comfort. It allows for natural freedom of movement in the ankle joint, improves surefootedness on technical terrain and helps protect against twisting the ankle. The sturdy and shock-absorbing EVA midsole contributes to a comfortable walking feel, even when carrying a heavy backpack.
Vibram MegaGrip outsole
On challenging trails, the Vibram MegaGrip outsole impresses with its integrated Impact Brake System. The special arrangement of the lugs offers excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces, aids shock absorption on impact and improves control when walking uphill and downhill. This ensures the boots remain reliable and sure-footed even on rocky, wet or rough terrain. Weighing just around 525 grams per boot, the TX5 GTX combine durability with surprising lightness.
