If you're looking for grippy and waterproof trail running shoes for cold and wet weather, you'll have to have a look at the Tempesta GTX from La Sportiva. These shoes boast an incredibly versatile sole, a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and offer plenty of stability.The single mesh upper is water-repellent and has a a bootie-like fit with a fast lacing system. This not only makes the shoes easy to slip on but also increases the overall comfort. The TPU elements at the toe serve to increase durability. The Gore-Flex lining is breathable, waterproof and guarantees flexibility. The Ortholite footbed and the EVA midsole, complete with a torsion stabiliser, provide insulation, cushioning and stability. The FriXion AT sole provides excellent traction on various soft surfaces, be it forest floors, mud, slush or dry snow. The sole is also compatible with AT Grip Spikes, so you can get the grip you need on icy surfaces if necessary.The Tempesta GTX trail running shoes are extremely versatile and perfect for mountain running and autumn, winter and spring trail runs.
