Climbing shoes for kids
On the wall - get set - go! Young, avid climber wish nothing more than to have "real climbing shoes”. Sneakers and slippers just won’t give them the grip they need.
La Sportiva specially developed climbing shoes for children: the Kid's Tarantula JR, the junior version of the Tarantula for adults. The main difference is that the kid’s model is made of a softer material to prevent their sensitive bones and cartilage from getting pushed down too much. They also don’t have any pre-tensioning and the last will mould to the natural shape of their feet. Plus, they have a seamless upper to preventing the climbing shoes form pinching them. This is very practical because children tend to forget they can take off their shoes between problems and want to climb for hours.
Other great features include the smooth hook-and-loop fastener that allows for an easy on/off and the pull tabs at the heels help your little one put on their shoes on their own.
