Product description
Built for expeditions in the most extreme areas of this world: the G2 Evo from La Sportiva. These boots are brimming with so many great features, so let’s take a closer look at them: The outer shoe features four layers, which means that protection against the wind, cold and rain is guaranteed. Plus, a combination of water-repellent polyamide, warm-retaining felt, insulating polyethylene and an aluminium layer that reflects the heat back to the body provide excellent protection against the elements.
In addition, the removable liner enhances insulation and ensures comfort inside the boot. You can even take the liners out of the boots to enjoy their warmth and wear them during freezing nights.
Plus, thanks to the above-ankle-high gaiter with an integrated drawstring, you’ll be reliably protected against moisture trying to penetrate the boots even in fresh snow. And, the rock guard rand ensures abrasion-resistance.
As for the lacing, two Boa Fit Systems (one on the inside and one on the outside) enable you to adjust the front laces independently of the rest. The dial featured on the outside can even be operated whilst wearing thick gloves.
But that’s not all: the crampon-compatible expedition boot features a durable and non-slip Vibram Matterhorn outsole. So, the G2 Evo is made for extreme adventures and completely outperforms conventional trekking boots in these situations.
