Product description
Soft indoor climbing shoes for advanced climbers
The Cobra from La Sportiva are soft slip-on climbing shoes that are ideal for sport climbing and bouldering in the hall, but are also very suitable for speed climbing. They are perfect for all climbers and boulderers who climb at a slightly more advanced level and are looking for shoes with which they can excel in all three indoor disciplines.
Construction
These shoes feature a downturn, moderate pre-tensioning and strong asymmetry. As a result, they offer a high degree of precision on small footholds and ledges despite the overall flexibility of their construction. The sole is made from special Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber, which is relatively soft and very high-traction. As a result, the Cobra are ideal for supporting your weight with just friction and offer great sensitivity for your feet.
Fit
The Cobra are neither particularly tight nor particularly wide cut. They are therefore best suited for feet with a medium volume. However, as these shoes are one of the softer models, they are designed to enclose your feet very tightly and precisely. As a result, they are not suitable for multi-pitch climbing.
Conclusion
The Cobra are sensitive, high-traction indoor all-rounders with a clear emphasis on performance. They are perfect for technically demanding sport and speed climbing. But you'll also do well with these shoes when bouldering.
The advantages at a glance:
- Soft slip-on style climbing shoes
- Ideal for sport and speed climbing indoors
- For medium to high levels of difficulty
- Moderate pre-tensioning
- For medium width feet
