Product description
The Nordic craftsmen at Helle designed the Viking Knife to look and feel like the knives one may have seen on the old longships. Those Vikings were pretty tough cookies, so it's fitting that this knife is too. It features a thick and tough laminated carbon steel blade. Helle heat-treated the blade for added strength, and it left the black finish from this treatment, giving this burly tool a rustic look. The handle has the simple and versatile shape of the old Viking knives, though the real Vikings may not have had access to curly birch wood this gorgeous, so Helle may have gone a bit overboard. The traditional, genuine leather sheath has an awesome look and hangs from a leather thong.
