Product description
Lightweight and waterproof walking boots for easy tours
A very lightweight option from Hanwag: the Tatra Light Lady GTX. Despite its low weight, the shoe provides a locked-down fit. Designed for treks with little gear, the boot features a Hanwag Integral Light sole, which is a slightly softer, well cushioned Vibram sole. This has a TPU stabiliser between the heel and the midfoot for support and torsional stability. The foot sits lower in the shoe for added stability.
In order to keep the weight to a minimum, not only did Hanwag opt for lightweight materials, but they also incorporated a special tread with 3D Prism Base technology. This changes the structure of the outsole and the rubber compound, resulting in a weight reduction of around 30%. The Tatra Light Lady GTX features a two-zone lacing system with Click Clamp eyelets for a secure fit and tongue lace hooks to keep the tongue in place.
Here are the advantages at a glance:
- Comfortable and lightweight
- Waterproof and breathable thanks to GORE-TEX
- Non-slip Vibram sole made for diverse terrain
- Hanwag Integral Light sole with excellent cushioning
- Foot sits lower in the shoe for enhanced stability
