Achieve organisation and clarity at your belay station with the Vlad belay station carabiner by Grivel. Every Alpine climber knows how quickly chaos can ensue at the belay station when two rope teams meet at the wall. Overlapping ropes and belay devices, as well as mixed up carabiners, can be dangerous. Even if you don’t meet other climbers, Vlad helps you to see what’s what with its three integrated extra eyelets. Your own and your partner’s belay device can be clipped in, leaving the third eyelet free for other gear, for example. Each of the eyelets has a breaking load of 27 kn, and the Vlad carabiner keeps everything lined up in the right position. The mirror-inverted twingate safety catch is protected against unintentional opening. There is a spring bar on the outside and a normal gate on the inside. Once you’ve got the knack of handling it, the locking system is quick and convenient. One of the main benefits of the Vlad belay station carabiner is its compactness. While setting up a belay station used to require several carabiners to be hooked together, this carabiner saves on gear and ensures a short distance to the belay point. It makes your gear lighter, better value and also perfectly organised - the Vlad belay station carabiner is a great companion for Alpine climbing, trad and big walls.
