Product description
The Grivel Master Kit with the Clepsydra L Twin-Gate carabiner is a lightweight and very reliable tool for belaying, lowering and rappelling. It consists of the Master from Grivel, a single belay device for single and double ropes with a diameter of 7.3 and 11mm. The Master comes complete with the very user-friendly and beginner-appropriate twin-gate carabiner Clepsydra L.
The twin-gate carabiner Clepsydra L can be operated with a single hand and won't open accidently, as screw-gate carabiners could, thanks to the dual closure. Thanks to the wire isolating the belay loop, there is much less of a chance of cross-loading as well. The Clepsydra L is considered to be one of the safest carabiners out there and still works in icy and dirt-ridden conditions. Thus, it's a great carabiner to have in high-alpine terrain as well.
The Master Kit with the Clepsydra L Twin Gate from Grivel is perfectly suited for both alpine climbing and sport climbing. Plus, it's very lightweight and works great with single and double ropes. Have we mentioned it's easy to use? Well, it is, and that's why it's an excellent belay device for beginners as well.
