Product description
Weatherproof walking boots for steep terrain
The Ascent GTX from Garmont are ideal for fast climbs, via ferratas and mountaineering! These lightweight mountain boots are made from durable 1.8mm suede leather and fit excellently thanks to their athletic cut. They feature a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining, which makes the boots waterproof and breathable. Plus, a comfortable footbed made from antibacterial felt reduces the build-up of odours and increases the air circulation within the boots.
Solid grip and plenty of comfort
Garmont's Frame Flex Mid insole, made of nylon, provides the perfect combination of stability and flexibility. The Vibram Nepal outsole features a climbing zone on the underside of the toe, offers excellent grip on all surfaces and is very durable. Meanwhile, the precise lacing with additional lace hooks on the collar keeps your feet secure on both ascents and descents.
The asymmetrical collar is higher on the inner side, thus protecting your ankles and lending extra stability. In addition, a protective rubber rand in the toe area and at the heel protects the boots against abrasion, scree and stones. The anatomically-formed tongue of the Garmont Ascent GTX mountain boots adapts perfectly to your foot, allowing for optimal comfort.
